STATEMENT OF WORK

Ferrite Bars

PR 1301012909

1.0 Background

In support of submarine modernization, ferrite bars are needed as subcomponents of Very Low Frequency (VLF) Crossed loop antenna assemblies. The sponsoring program office, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), PMW770, Submarine Communications and Integration, has tasked Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) to procure ferrite bars for antenna production.

1.1 Places of Performance

All tasking shall take place at the contractor’s facility.

2.0 Scope

The contractor shall manufacture, test, and deliver MN-60 ferrite bars in accordance with applicable documents and Government Furnished Information (GFI).

4.0 Technical Requirements

The contractor shall manufacture ferrite bars in accordance GFI document 6.1. The contractor shall test each ferrite bar in accordance with GFI document 6.2. The contractor shall deliver a test report for each ferrite bar as CDRL A001. (CDRL A001: Test/Inspection Report)

5.0 Progress Reports

The contractor shall prepare a Production Report that indicates the production milestones, including material order and receipt, anticipated and actual delivery dates and anticipated delays in delivery for all assigned tasks. The contractor shall submit the Production Report for the same timeframe as each invoice (DD 1149) submitted in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) Module of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
