USCGC OLIVER HENRY is scheduled for a QL4 (Engine replacement) to remove the existing Main Diesel Engine(MDE) and replace it with a new Main Diesel Engine. This Engine replacement is intended to ensure the propulsion system and associated components are properly removed, installed, and prepared to support continued operational readiness. The project will address the overall condition of the Engine, verify that it can withstand the vessel’s operating environment, and help preserve system reliability during underway operations. Completing this work will improve the cutter’s ability to maintain mission endurance, reduce the risk of equipment degradation, and ensure the propulsion system remains safe, effective, and supportable throughout future deployments.
This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes the requirements for a qualified Contractor to provide a land-based crane services and all associated support for Government directed lifting operations.
