1. REQUIREMENT:

The contractor shall provide all management, tools, specialized equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to perform the installation of an electronic interlock system in the NDI vault, Rm. 123.

The NDI Lab requires that the old interlock system be disconnected and removed and the newer TSG interlock be installed in the x‐ray vault. The interlock is required to be installed for shielded radiography IAW 33B‐1‐1 to prevent accidental x‐ray exposure. The newer TSG interlock is required per Message AFNDIO 04‐2007. Period of Performance for install is requested to be August 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021 (Estimated).

4. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

The location for performance of this contract is:

Hurlburt Field, FL 32544

Normal business hours are defined as 24 hour operations, Monday through Friday with the exception of weekends and federal holidays.

Following installation of the new system, contractor will troubleshoot system for errors, and then validate the systems functionality to ensure compliance with the aforementioned AFNDIO requirements. Special care will be taken to ensure that the system will allow for safe operations of industrial radiation equipment.
