Statement of Work
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. A certified contractor will provide all the necessary supervision, labor, travel, materials, tools, equipment, accessories, and all other applicable items necessary to complete the Control Tower (Bldg. 90729) camera installation. One camera will be placed in the hall on the lowest floor of the tower to provide identification for individuals entering in the tower (foyer), another camera will be located inside the controlled area providing complete coverage of the entrances to the elevator leading to the top floor, and an additional camera will be located at the entry door to the tower cab (floor 11). These items will be IAW AFI 31-101 and will provide the tower necessary identification of personnel into and out of the towers controlled movement area.
1.1. BASIC SERVICES. Install three cameras in the Control Tower for personnel identification into a controlled area. One camera (base floor) will be in the entrance of the tower facing the elevator and stairwell to identify who enters and exits the facility. The second camera (base floor) will be mounted to the exterior of the tower door that faces west (in the foyer). The third camera will be placed at the entrance of the tower cab door (10th floor) to prevent unauthorized entry in the tower cab. The cameras will need to be connected via network cabling to our Private Managed System (PMS). The Airfield Automation Systems (AFAS) will provide the Watch Supervisor (WS) awareness of who has entered an exited the controlled facility. A contract has previously been awarded to Systems Atlanta for the install with the AFAS system itself and therefore, there will be no compatibility software issues.
1.1.1.1. Installation of camera hardware on bottom floors and top floor to prevent unauthorized controlled area access.
Install three new cameras
Run (cat 5 or cat 6) cable required to connect camera to the AFAS system in sub floor of tower cab (floor 11)
Install the camera to the AFAS system to provide data communication link between the camera and the PMS.
Setup the cameras on the current AFAS and provide window viewers on the system.
1.1.1.2. Contractor shall provide and install new cameras and network cable to be connected to
PMS switch located on 11th floor.
1.1.2. Provide and install all necessary wiring, cables and hardware in order to connect and render an operating camera system.
1.1.2.1. All electrical work shall comply with NFPA 70, National Electric Code.
1.1.2.2. All wiring shall be installed in conduit.
1.1.2.3. Installation shall comply with “IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705”.

2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. There will be no
Government Furnished Property or Services provided for this effort.
3. HOURS OF OPERATION.
3.1. The Government will provide escorts for installers; installers do not need US Government
Security Clearances.
3.1.2 All installers must be US Citizens, regardless of prime or subcontractors status.
3.1.3 A walk through with the Contractor supervisor and the Building Facility Manager will be accomplished before starting work and after completion of work to determine if any damage to the building was a result of the contractor’s efforts. Any damages will need to be repaired at no additional cost to the Government.
3.2. Normal Hours of Operation. The contractor shall perform the services required under this contract during the following hours: MON-FRI 0730 to 1630, except for federal holidays. The contractor may work, with prior approval of the Contracting Officer, extended hours to ensure timely completion of work at no additional cost to the government.
3.3. Recognized Holidays. The contractor is not required to provide service on the following days:
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Days, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, it is observed on
Monday.
