Statement of Work
1. Scope: The contractor shall provide Naval Medical Center San Diego modified waiting room shields to support COVID 19and possible precautions as depicted in the enclosed picture.
2. Location: Various waiting rooms around the hospital.
3. Contractor requirements: MODIFY EXISTING WAITING ROOM DIVIDERS
With their close seating, waiting rooms aren't the definition of safe social distancing. For medical waiting rooms, waiting room dividers should be easy to install and do not require any special equipment or holes or screws to be placed in the existing furniture.
The contractor will pick up the existing shields from NMCSD loading dock.
Remove the existing T bar base of both sides of the existing shields.
Install an acceptable flat base as provided in the picture below. That measures 30" deep x 12" wide.
The contractor will provide to NMCSD 1 (one) finished product prior to any additional modifications to ensure that they are compliant with Patient Safety requirements.
There shall be a (1) one week turnaround time from initial pickup to delivery of the finished shields after verification for patient safety awareness.
The contractor will return the modified existing shields to NMCSD loading dock.
4. Government requirement: The government will distribute the shields.
