This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for X-ray baggage scanners in support of CVN 72, a naval carrier located out of Coronado, California.

The contractor shall provide X-ray baggage scanning systems capable of non-invasive inspection of personnel effects, hand-carried items, and authorized materials. All equipment must be fully operational upon delivery and include necessary components for immediate use. Systems must be suitable for pier-side operations and support continuous screening in a high-temperature environment. The equipment is required in accordance with the Allowance Equipment List (AEL) to close an identified security gap, enhancing the command's ability to detect prohibited items and supporting compliance with established force protection and antiterrorism requirements. The contractor is responsible for delivery of all equipment to Naval Air Station North Island; CVN 72 beach detachment will manage on-site transportation, staging, and movement to the pier for final setup prior to ship arrival. The Government will provide no furnished equipment, with the contractor supplying all equipment, materials, and components required. The Government will provide access to installation facilities and designated storage locations as needed. Delivery and completion of all requirements must be coordinated to ensure equipment is in place and fully operational prior to CVN 72's scheduled arrival at Naval Air Station North Island, with specific dates to be provided upon contract award. Points of contact are MAC Justin Brandt (303-359-5172, justin.brandt@cvn72.navy.mil) and LCDR Alexander Bates (619-458-8940, alexander.bates@cvn72.navy.mil).
