About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a sequencing service requirement for the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service's Plant Science Research Unit in Raleigh, North Carolina. The agency seeks twelve (12) lanes of single-end AVITI 150 bp high-output flow cell sequencing, which includes pre-sequencing quality control and will support ongoing genetic research of plant complex traits. Specific service requirements include: (1) sequencing 384 pooled uniquely barcoded DNA sample libraries per lane with an expected yield of approximately 500 million reads (75 Gbp) per lane, (2) performing Qubit, Tapestation, and Collibri qPCR pre-sequencing quality control, and (3) returning sequence FASTQ files, FastQC reports, and flow cell reports via password-protected FTP within 14 days of library receipt.

Text version
The United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Science
Research Unit, Raleigh, North Carolina requires twelve (12) lanes of single end AVITI 150 bp
High output flow cell sequencing service to be performed, including pre-sequencing quality control. The data generated from the 12 lanes of next generation sequencing will be analyzed and utilized in conjunction with the Plant Science Research Unit’s ongoing genetic investigation of complex traits of plants.
Service Requirements:
1) 12 lanes of AVITI single end 150 bp sequencing on High output flow cells with a yield of approximately 500 million reads (75 Gbp) lane. Each lane is to be loaded with 384 pooled uniquely barcoded DNA sample libraries provided by the Plant Science
Research Unit, Raleigh, NC.
2) Qubit, Tapestation, and Collibri qPCR pre-sequencing quality control for 12 AVITI lanes.
3) Return of sequence FASTQ files, FastQC reports, and flow cell reports detailing pass filter polony, Q-score, and yield statistics via password-protected FTP within 14 days of receipt of libraries.
