About this file

This Statement of Work details a service contract for maintenance and warranty of two MPI autoprobing systems used by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) at their Boulder location. The contract covers two specific systems: a 4-arm autoprober (TS2000-IFE THZ SN AST101088122) and a 2-arm autoprober (TS2000-SE THZ SN P22101009), with service requirements including maintenance of system components such as thermal chucks, PC controllers, electronics, microscope movements, cameras, and vibration isolation components.

The contract period runs from July 25, 2025 to July 24, 2026, with one preventative maintenance visit per year for each system. The work supports NIST's Electric-Acoustic Spectrometer project, Microwave Materials Project, and supply chain security efforts. NIST intends to sole-source this contract to MPI America Inc. based on them being the original equipment manufacturer, with a firm-fixed-price purchase order anticipated. Interested parties can demonstrate alternative capabilities by submitting responses by July 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. MST to the designated NIST contact.
