About this file

This document is a Statement of Work for a Spectra SVC HR-1024i System to upgrade the Biospheric Science Laboratory equipment at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The key requirements are for one Spectra SVC HR-1024i System, including fiber optic light guides, foreoptics, radiometric calibrations, and accessories. The system will support research into terrestrial and coastal vegetation. The place of performance is at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, with a shipping lead time of 5-6 weeks after contract award.

The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation for the Spectra SVC HR-1024i System. NASA intends to issue a sole source contract to Spectra Vista Corporation under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), as they are the manufacturer of the compatible equipment. NASA Goddard Space Flight Center will be the procuring center. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing by 9/16/2024 for the government to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted.
