Project ARRD Cooler Repair

General Information

1.0 Scope of Work

Replace refrigeration components for the tree cooler.

2.0 Background

The tree cooler is no longer functioning. The cooler needs to maintain a temperature of 32-36 degrees.

Contractor Requirements

3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks

Dismantle and remove existing Mechanical Refrigeration equipment from site. Install new Outdoor condensing unit in place of old one. Install new Indoor evaporator system with new TXV, solenoid valve and coil and new temp/defrost controls. Run new insulated refrigeration copper pipe from outdoor unit to new indoor unit. Braze all connections, Pressure test with Nitrogen to 300 PSI and pull vacuum on refrigeration system to hold at 500 microns to prove leak free. Charge system with all new R-448 refrigerant. Start up and test equipment. Set all controls for proper operation.
