STATEMENT OF WORK
1. Objective/Requirements NASA-GSFC owns and operates a load-locked sputtering system manufactured by KDF, Inc. This is a high precision tools used in fabrication of silicon devices that are processed in the Code 553 Detector Development Lab. This system requires reliable operation and protection against failed parts in addition to maintenance by qualified field service engineers. NASA Shared Services Center has a requirement for providing annual preventative maintenance on this equipment.

3. Provide maintenance services for the KDF 954-I load-locked sputtering system .
KDF 954-I loadlocked sputtered Preventative Maintenance
- Provide annual Preventative Maintenance call or calls
- Includes up to 200 hours labor, travel, expenses, airline.
- Includes phone, e-mail and remote connect support.
- Includes use of calibration kits
For each visit, the vendor shall provide a factory trained engineer. NASA reserves the right to request documented proof that service engineer is certified to work on listed equipment.
The vendor shall provide an engineer who is a U.S. Citizen or LPR. Alternatively, if a foreign national must conduct the visit, then the vendor shall provide names of visitors and the required documentation 30 days in advance of scheduling a visit.
