About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for a vessel rental to support United States Coast Guard maritime security response team tactical training. The contractor must provide a vessel of at least 120 feet in length with a minimum 12 by 12 foot open deck space and 15 feet of freeboard. The vessel must be capable of accommodating 35 passengers and transiting at least 10 nautical miles offshore. Required interior spaces include a bridge, engine room, machinery room, and passenger seating similar to a ferry. Training will involve close quarters combat, CBRNE scenarios, tactical casualty care, and other tactical exercises. Four underway training dates are specified in August and September 2023, with two pier-side dates in September 2023. The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice from the Department of Homeland Security's United States Coast Guard seeking the vessel rental outlined in the statement of work.
