Statement of T‐M Vacuum Products, Inc.

Background The planetary environments laboratory (PEL) at the Goddard Space Flight Center of the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) builds mass spectrometers and related space‐flight instrumentation for planetary missions. The instrument parts are required to meet rigorous cleanliness standards that are ensured by routinely performing high vacuum (<1x10E‐7 Torr), high temperature (up to 600 C) bakeouts of the parts while monitoring the residual gases in the chamber. The routine and cyclic nature of such bakeouts necessitates a system capable of quick turn‐around time and automation, such as offered by T‐M Vacuum Products.

Scope

‐ Manufacture, functional testing at vendor facility, and delivery of Qty: 1 of V/IG 806‐14 Hot Wall Vacuum Oven as per specifications in the proposal EU‐22‐012 Rev B attached at the end of this document:

‐ Software license for vacuum oven operation & monitoring

Requirements

Conformance to the specifications as listed in the T-M Vacuum Products proposal EU-22-012 Rev B attached at the end of this Statement of Work.

Chamber shall be electropolished Chamber shall include and adjustable shelf system with 4 stainless steel shelves The system shall include oil-free, dry pumps only. That includes:

o ANEST IWATA ISP 250 (8.5 cfm) rough pump o High Vacuum Turbo pump package (LEybold TurboVac MAG W 400 iP with controller, cables & screen, ISO 160 stainless steel elbow, MKS cold cathode and Pirani gauges alogng with all other necessary vacuum piuping, valves, fittings and gauges.

The system shall include a Stanford Research System 200 amu RGA with flange and isolation valve.

Deliverables or Delivery Schedule Period of performance: May 16th, 2022 to October 17th, 2022

The oven compliant with specifications in the section titled “Requirements”, including a test report from pre‐shipment functional acceptance testing shall be delivered to Andrej Grubisic (GSFC – Code 699) by the end of period of performance.

Upon customer request, the vendor shall provide training to customer personnel at the vendor facility prior to oven shipment.
