About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the delivery and installation of 200 cubicles of furniture at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) in Bremerton, Washington. The furniture kit (KIT#64860-26-B81SWIFTST) comprises Swiftspace Shift mobile workstations measuring 6 feet by 8 feet (48 square feet minimum) with locking devices, electrical power components, linking plates, magnetic whiteboards, pencil cups, and acoustic panel accessories, along with SCS-ISS storage components including laminate wardrobe file/file tower cabinets, metal case mobile box/file pedestals with seat cushions, and power and data service poles standing 12.5 feet high with data faceplates, ports, and USB lightning cables. All products must meet BIFMA standards and possess SCS Global Indoor Advantage Gold Certification.
The contractor is responsible for furnishing labor and material handling equipment for off-loading and delivery to three separate onsite storage locations, with the Government providing building space preparation and identifying off-load locations. Work must be executed during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays) with minimal disruption to facility operations. Significant constraints include a mandatory 60-day lead-time requirement for IT support to complete data wall cabling removal and installation, and union notification requirements if employees are temporarily relocated for more than 30 days. Contractor personnel must obtain Security Pass/ID Badges at Building 981 and comply with strict site restrictions including prohibitions on colored wrapping materials, radio equipment, personal computers, photographic equipment, and recording devices within the Controlled Industrial Area. Shipping should be directed to PSNS Receiving Officer at Building 514, 1400 Farragut Avenue, Bremerton, WA 98314-5001, with special handling provisions for the two locations with loading docks and freight elevators versus the third location requiring a truck with liftgate.
