About this file

The document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the installation of a rental temporary chiller at the New York VA Medical Center. The SOW requires the contractor to provide three 400-ton air cooled chillers for a 6-month rental period and two additional 400-ton chillers for a 3-month rental period during the summer of 2024. The contractor must perform all site preparation, hookup, and equipment installation, as well as provide pumps, hoses, and other accessories to connect the chillers to the medical center's chilled water system. The contract also includes optional one-month extensions for the rental periods. The SOW emphasizes safety, damage prevention, and coordination with the VA. There are no IT security or privacy requirements, as the equipment will not access the VA network or store sensitive information.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Sources Sought notice for the chiller rental and installation services. The notice states the intent to award a one-time Firm Fixed Price contract and provides a summary of the work requirements. Responses should include company information, experience, and capability to perform the services. Interested parties are instructed to submit their responses via email by the specified deadline.
