STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1. BACKGROUND
CGC VENTUROUS is currently experiencing water intrusion on both rudderposts, with a combined leak rate of less than 50 gallons per day. The starboard rudderpost packing was replaced in December 2018. Port and starboard stuffing box damage is suspected, limiting the longevity of repairs. Repacking both rudders is a temporary solution until permanent repairs can be made to the rudders in a drydock.
