About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) requirement for reprocessed 2D seismic data from the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska (NPR-A) and adjacent western lands. The project aims to support research for assessing undiscovered oil and gas resources, aligned with Executive Order 14153 and Secretarial Orders 3422 and 3512. The contractor must provide seismic data that is located within the specified boundaries, originates from public domain files on the USGS website, and has been reprocessed using state-of-the-art technology within the past three years (2022 or later).

The deliverables include reprocessed 2D seismic data in Kirchho pre-stack time migration format and SEG-Y (sgy) file format, along with complete and accurate navigation data associated with the seismic lines. The USGS will not provide any Government-Furnished Information (GFI), meaning the contractor must source and reprocess all data independently. Reprocessing workflows must follow industry standards to optimize bandwidth enhancement and shot domain noise attenuation. The accompanying map shows the proposed seismic data collection areas across Alaska, with red and black dots indicating potential survey locations and lines.

Statement of Work (SOW)

Project Title: Acquisition of Reprocessed 2D Seismic Data for the Alaska Basins and Petroleum Systems Project

1. Background and Purpose The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) requires digital, reprocessed, two-dimensional (2D)

-A) and adjacent lands to the west. This data is essential for conducting research related to the assessment of undiscovered oil and gas resources. The acquisition supports the mandates outlined in Executive Order 14153 and Secretarial Orders 3422 and 3512.

2. Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide reprocessed 2D seismic data that meets the following criteria:

-A and adjacent lands to the west.

Data must be reprocessed using state-of-the-art technology and software within the past three years (i.e., 2022 or later).

enhancement and shot domain noise attenuation.

3. Deliverables The Contractor shall deliver:

Reprocessed 2D seismic data in -stack time migration format.

SEG-Y (sgy) format.

Complete and accurate navigation data associated with the seismic lines.

4. Government-Furnished Information (GFI) The USGS will not provide any GFI. All data must be sourced and reprocessed by the Contractor.
