About this file
This document is a Statement of Work for maintenance services on a portable, low-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system acquired by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The objective is to establish a multi-year contract for maintenance costs and software access to operate the system and obtain images in DICOM format. The required tasks include providing MRI system software updates and continued annual preventative maintenance and repairs. The work will be performed at NIST's Boulder, Colorado facility. NIST intends to award a firm fixed-price contract with a base period plus four one-year option periods to the incumbent provider, Hyperfine Operations, Inc., due to their proprietary software and components. Any interested parties capable of meeting the requirements must demonstrate their capabilities in writing by May 22, 2024. NIST anticipates awarding the contract by June 30, 2024.
