Statement of Requirements Summary

This is a Statement of Requirements for the procurement of SmartShooter SMASH 2000L fire control optics and spare parts by the 42d Security Forces Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The Government requires six (6) SmartShooter SMASH 2000L fire control optics and one (1) comprehensive spare parts and field maintenance package to equip dismounted security forces with lightweight, AI-driven fire control systems capable of automated target tracking and counter-small unmanned aircraft system (C-sUAS) defense capabilities for critical base infrastructure protection.

The primary systems specified include six units of the SmartShooter SMASH 2000L fire control optics, each weighing approximately 1.5 lbs with dual-core processing architecture supporting real-time target detection and dynamic tracking. The optics feature a clear see-through reflex window display with digital zeroing, day/night operational modes, and up to 8x magnification, powered by high-capacity rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries providing 72 hours of continuous runtime per charge, and are fully compatible with standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail mounting mechanisms on M4/M4A1 rifles. The spare parts lot includes replacement battery packs, protective optical lens covers, sunshades, cleaning kits, mounting rail hardware assemblies, foregrip lock switch cables, connection wiring, ruggedized field repair hardware, and custom transit shipping cases. Delivery shall be coordinated to 130 West Selfridge Street, Suite #26, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112, with vehicles reporting to the commercial vehicle inspection gate. No contractor installation is required as equipment is commercial-off-the-shelf and rail-mountable by organic armory personnel. The contractor must provide operational user documentation, quick reference cards, and technical manuals with delivered items; formal on-site training is not required. The contractor shall provide Original Equipment Manufacturer standard commercial warranty with a minimum three-year coverage period at no additional cost, including written warranty procedures and points of contact prior to project acceptance. All items must be brand new, with battery shipments complying with Department of Transportation and Department of Defense Class 9 Hazardous Materials packaging and transit safety regulations.
