STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT

A.I. ENABLED WARGAMING HARDWARE PLATFORM

AFWI MAGE

1.0 SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENT. The Air Force Wargaming Institute requires a hardware solution (server) to host the Air Force Wargaming Institute's Multi-Agent

Generative Engine (AFWI MAGE). This will be an artificial intelligence software system hosted on our standalone wargaming network. The solution will not touch NIPR, SIPR, or

JWICS.

2.0 DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS. Vendor must provide a hardware solution meeting or exceeding the following minimum specifications. Equal products meeting specifications are acceptable.

2.1 Processor:

2.1.1 Dual Intel Xeon Gold 6526Y 2.8G, 16C/32T, 20GT/s, 37.5M Cache, Turbo, HT

(195W) DDR5-5200

2.2 Memory:

2.2.1 256GB (8 x 32GB) RDIMM, 5600MT/s, Dual Rank or equivalent/better

2.2.2 480GB usable storage space after RAID 1 with supporting controller card for OS (2 x M.2 480GB) or equal/better

2.2.3 3.84TB usable storage with RAID 1 Data Center NVMe Read Intensive AG Drive

U2 Gen4 with Carrier or equivalent/better

2.3 Power Supply:

2.3.1 Dual, Hot-Plug, Power Supply 2400W Redundant, D Mixed

2.3.2 (2) x PowerCords , 250V, 2FT, C19/C20, US

2.4 Graphics:

2.4.1 (3) x NVIDIA L40S, PCIe, 350W, 48GB Passive, Double Wide, Full Height GPU or equivalent/better supporting 10 simultaneous users and being able to upgrade to support 30 simultaneous users.

2.5 Miscellaneous:

2.5.1 Rack mountable Sliding Rails for standard 42U rack

2.5.2 UEFI BIOS Boot Mode with GPT Partition

2.5.4 Dual 10/25GbE SFP28 OCP NIC 3.0

2.5.5 SFP28 SR Optic, 25GbE, 85C, for all SFP28 ports

2.5.6 C33, RAID 1 with NVMe and front PERC or equivalent/better

2.5.7 Controller for selected drives and RAID

2.5.8 No Operating System

2.5.9 Product must not be within 5 years of End of Life (EOL)

3.0 GENERAL INFORMATION. All equipment must be new, no refurbished items.

Standard manufacturer hardware warranties will apply.

3.1 Delivery should be made to LeMay Center/WAT, 401 Chennault Circle, Bldg 1406, Maxwell AFB AL 36112. Bldg 1406 has a delivery dock and freight elevator to facilitate delivery.
