Statement of Need for

821 CRG/DOL

Weapon Mounts – MRZR

Date 16 June 2025

The 821st Contingency Response Group (CRG) Defenders at Travis AFB CA, has a requirement for nine ( ) M240/M249 Weapon Mounts Assembly and (9) M2A1 Weapon Mounts to be mounted on nine (9) Military RZR-Alpha (MRZR-A) establishing a mobile weapons platform.

1. The contractor shall provide the following:

1.1. 4 MRZR-A Weapon Mounts Assembly. Military System Group, Brand Name or Equal.

1.1.1. Description: A weapon mount assembly designed for MRZR-A vehicles that is capable of mounting one (1) M240/M249 machine guns per vehicle without additional components being added or removed, and capable of dismounting the weapons without removing more than two (2) pins. A second roll cage mount designed for MRXR A vehicles that is capable of mounting one (1) M2A1 machine gun per vehicle without additional components being added or removed, and capable of dismounting the weapons without removing more than two (2) pins

1.1.2. Components: The Weapon Mount Assembly must have all the components identified in the table below or equal.

1.1.3. Installation instructions and all installation accessories must also be included.

1.1.4. Weight: The total weight of all components should be less than 100 lbs. to not disrupt the MRZR-A’s center of balance.

1.1.5. Range of Motion: Must allow a satisfactory range of motion of weapons for shooters. The minimum angles are reflected below:

• Side to side swing: 90 -degrees angles

• Downward swing: 15-degree angle.

• Upward swing: 30-degree angle.

1.2. Brochures or catalogs with images and descriptions of items that show compatibility with the MRZR-A must be included in the quote.

1.3. Warrant: The contractor shall provide a warranty on all equipment, which includes post-installation support to ensure proper function within the specified range of motion.

3. Period of Performance: The contractor shall deliver all items within 120 calendar days after receipt of order.

4. Shipping must be included.
