About this file

This statement of need document outlines requirements for an elevator maintenance agreement for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Mississippi Laboratory facility. The scope includes recurring inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance services for a 3-stop hydraulic elevator. As the elevator contains proprietary Schindler components, use of the manufacturer for these services is mandatory. The technical specifications refer to an attached quote from Schindler Elevator's New Orleans branch for work to be performed during normal business hours except federal holidays at the specified delivery location. Evaluation will solely consider whether the quote meets the identified technical specifications and provides a firm-fixed price with FOB Destination terms. Invoices should be submitted to the designated billing office and include specified information.

The related federal contract opportunity posting provides notice of intent to make a sole source award to Schindler Elevator Corporation in response to solicitation NFFN73002302100AAG for the elevator maintenance agreement at the NOAA Mississippi Laboratory.

None
