STATEMENT OF NEED FOR SUPPLIES < $150K
PURPOSE:
This requisition is to remove HAZMAT materials from NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer, a research vessel owned by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The ship has accumulated various chemicals that need to be removed from the vessel in a safe and ecological manner.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Collection and Removal of various HAZMAT items:

DELIVERABLE SCHEDULE:
Requesting removal between 12-July and 17-July, 2024
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer 1897 Ranger Loop, Bldg 184
Honolulu, HI 96818 The ship is docked at F9 pier, north berth on Ford Island.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
SDS for all chemicals will be provided. ~1000 gallons of waste oil from 2" camlock fitting in the lower motor room (LMR). Estimated 100 feet of hose required to get from the pier to the LMR.
