About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) clarification document issued by Peterson Space Force Base's 21st Contracting Squadron regarding a Sources Sought solicitation for Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems. The RFI addresses two vendor inquiries related to the market research effort. Regarding quantity, the government clarified that the estimated range for CCTV cameras is 1-50 units. Additionally, the RFI corrects a statement in the original Sources Sought document that incorrectly referenced "SAM schedule" requirements; the correct requirement specifies that vendors must confirm authorization as resellers on their GSA schedule, if applicable and if the items are not available on the open market.
This pre-solicitation is issued by the Department of the Air Force Space Command for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10. The clarifications provided in the RFI are intended to address common vendor questions and ensure vendors understand the specific requirements for responding to the Sources Sought, including reseller authorization and GSA schedule compliance.

1. What is the estimated quantity range for the CCTVs (1-50, 100+, 1000+)?
The estimated range is 1-50 cameras.
2. Clarification on the statement in the Sources Sought that said, “Confirmation that you are an authorized re-seller of the items (if required) and items are available on your SAM schedule, if applicable (not open market).”
This statement should say GSA schedule, not SAM schedule.
