About this file
This document is a Sources Sought Announcement, which is a market survey for written information only and not a solicitation for proposals. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) is seeking information from small business and other vendors capable of providing an Illumina NextSeq 2000 Sequencing System, or equal instrument, plus one option year of post-warranty maintenance. The key requirements include the ability to meet minimum performance specifications such as producing at least 40 GB of data in 13 hours, integrating with FPGA secondary analysis software, and providing comprehensive warranty and maintenance services. Interested vendors must submit capability statements by May 20, 2024 that demonstrate their qualifications. While this is not a request for quotes, informational pricing would be helpful. The expected delivery, installation, and training is within four months of contract award, with the warranty period anticipated to be from October 15, 2024 to October 14, 2025, followed by a one-year option period. The equipment will be delivered and maintenance services provided at the FDA's National Center for Toxicological Research in Jefferson, Arkansas.
