About this file

This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Education, Division of Technology and Innovation, for maintenance and support services of the MyFloridaSchools online portal. The department seeks a turnkey solution to provide ongoing operation, maintenance, support, and enhancement of the existing MyFloridaSchools portal, which serves as a centralized online platform enabling families to search for, compare, and evaluate early learning providers and K-12 schools throughout Florida, including public, charter, private, and virtual education options. The contract term spans three years from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2029, with annual performance periods. The last day for receipt of information from prospective vendors is August 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM. The services required include proprietary or licensed systems maintenance and support, software maintenance and support, computer hardware and support, and programming in proprietary languages.

The estimated total contract value is $5,700,000, with annual allocations of $1,900,000 for each of the three contract years. WonderSchool, Inc. is identified as the intended single source vendor due to the platform being built on WonderSchool's proprietary software solution and infrastructure. The justification for single source acquisition emphasizes that continuation of WonderSchool's managed services and supporting infrastructure is essential to maintain uninterrupted operations, preserve system functionality, and support data integrity. The document was posted on August 6, 2026, and will remain posted for a minimum of 15 business days in accordance with Florida Statutes Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3). The contract contact is Winston McGriff, located at the Florida Department of Education, 325 West Gaines Street, Suite 344, Tallahassee, FL 32399.
