This is a Sources Sought Notice issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation for potential sole source procurement of 1,785 unique National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs) from Lockheed Martin Corporation. The agency is conducting market research to determine if other companies can manufacture or legitimately obtain these items, with the intent to award a long-term, price-pending contract under the Captains of Industry (COI) contract SPE4AX-22-D-9000.

Interested companies are invited to submit capability statements by March 28, 2025, to Davarien.Sayles@dla.mil, including company details, CAGE code, business size, point of contact information, and documentation demonstrating financial resources, business ethics, technical skills, and manufacturing capabilities. DLA Aviation emphasizes that companies wishing to be considered as an "Approved Source" should submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package to dlaavnsmallbus@dla.mil, demonstrating their ability to manufacture products equal to or better than the currently approved items.
