About this file
This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Department seeks to procure maintenance, support, repairs, parts, supplies, software licenses, and training for its AB Sciex laboratory equipment, from the sole-source vendor AB Sciex LLC. The estimated value of the contract is up to $194,000, with an approximate contract amount of $163,988.73, for the period from the date of execution through June 30, 2023.
The justification for the single-source procurement is that AB Sciex LLC is the manufacturer of the equipment and the only known source with the technical knowledge to provide the required services, training, and parts. The Department has posted this notice for a minimum of 7 business days, as required by Florida statutes, to allow prospective vendors to provide information about their ability to supply the requested commodities or services.
