About this file

This is a Sources Sought Announcement for motorcycle safety training services at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. The 366 Contracting Squadron (366 CONS) of the 366 Fighter Wing is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing motorcycle endorsement and safety training services delivered by certified instructors. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 611692 (Automotive Driving Schools) and PSC code U099 (Education/Training—Other). Interested vendors should respond directly to the Points of Contact, Katie Sanderson (katie.sanderson@us.af.mil) and Jaclyn Fish (jaclyn.fish@us.af.mil), with their company information including SAM UEI, CAGE Code, and small business status designation. Respondents should clearly state their interest and capability to meet the requirement and associated timeline for performance delivery, though past performance information is not required at this stage.

The Government anticipates issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation or Request for Quotes (RFQ) to pre-qualified vendors following this market research phase, with future postings expected on sam.gov. A critical aspect of this market research is determining the viability of setting aside the competition for small businesses, with the possibility that 366 CONS may restrict competition to specific socio-economic small business categories. This announcement does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract, and requests for solicitation documents will not receive responses. The information provided is subject to change, and updated details will be communicated through future announcements as needed.
