Purpose: This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of conducting market research, to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. Responses are being requested from both large and small businesses. Proposals are NOT being requested, nor accepted at this time. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy.
The government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a small business or other socio-economic small business set-aside for the solicitation. Quality of responses received will be considered when making any small business set-aside determinations for this requirement.
Not responding to this announcement does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests.
Project Description: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement to upgrade and modify an existing
HVAC control system, rebalance, and recommission the existing HVAC systems to improve operation. Architectural work components consist of replacing existing decorative wood ceiling lattice panels and suspended ceiling tiles.
Upgrades require replacing the existing Honeywell DDC HVAC control system with a new Johnson Controls Metasys
DDC HVAC control system, including replacement of existing reheat coil and heating coil control valves, control valve actuators, damper actuators, sensors. etc.
The project location is the Northwest Oregon District Office, at 1717 Fabry Road SE, Salem, OR 97306 (LAT
44.874386, LONG -123.023681).
Anticipated Period of Performance: 90 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.
Magnitude of Construction: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
