About this file

This document is a detailed specification for welded gates for the Barbour County Wildlife Management Area (WMA) located in Midway, Alabama. The specification calls for the procurement of 5 identical gates, each 16 feet long, constructed from 2½" square tubing that is ¼" thick. The gates feature specific design elements including a locking side with a 10"x2½"x¼" plate, an off-centered hole for lock shackle insertion, a 3' long round pipe on the swivel side, diagonal and vertical support bars, and a 4" square tube locking pole with specific dimensions and configurations. The gates are to be painted safety yellow and will be delivered to 188 Christa Drive, Midway AL 36053.

The pricing is structured on a per-gate basis and includes delivery, with no installation required. The specification includes a detailed schematic diagram that provides precise measurements and welding instructions for fabrication. The gates will undergo SP3 cleaning, and each gate includes a 3" round swivel pole that is 7'6" long, with 4' below ground and 3' above ground, and a cap or welded plate to prevent lifting. The document appears to be part of a procurement process for specific infrastructure improvement or access control for the Barbour County Wildlife Management Area.
