About this file

This document is a specification for a state and local contract opportunity for the procurement of welded steel gates for the Barbour Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Midway, Alabama. The contract is being issued by the state of Alabama, specifically for Bullock County. The specification calls for the delivery of 5 welded steel gates, each 16 feet long and made from 2-inch square tubing. The gates must have a locking mechanism with an off-centered hole to accommodate a lock shackle, as well as a 3-inch round swivel pole and supporting diagonal and vertical bars. The gates are to be painted yellow and delivered to the Barbour WMA location.

The pricing and other terms of the contract are not explicitly stated in the document. However, the contract opportunity indicates that this is an "All or None" bid, meaning that bidders must submit pricing for the entire quantity of 5 gates. There are no set-asides or other special requirements mentioned, and the incumbent contractor, if any, is not identified. The funding source and amount for this project are also not provided.
