Defense Logistics Agency Aviation
About this file
This document is a justification for a sole source acquisition of an E-3 indicator position with national stock number 6610-01-008-7564 and part number 260909. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation plans to award a firm-fixed-price contract for 15 units to AAR Supply Chain, a distributor for sole manufacturer Ametek, which refuses to propose directly. Market research found Ametek to be the only source able to fulfill the requirement due to its ownership of necessary technical data. The acquisition was synopsized on August 13, 2021 and any firm requesting a solicitation was provided one. The anticipated award date is September 16, 2021 for an unknown contract value.
