About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of cylinder assemblies for aircraft landing gear systems. The solicitation is issued by DLA Weapons Support at Oklahoma City under solicitation number SPRTA1-26-Q-0464, with quotes due by 28 October 2026.
The requirement involves the manufacture of CYLINDER ASSEMBLY, A (NSN 1650-01-099-6745, Manufacturer Part Number 81205 50-6819-7) used to extend and retract the nose landing gear on aircraft. The procurement includes three production units (items 0002 and 0003) plus first article testing with two contractor-tested units (items 0001AA and 0001AB), material certifications (item 0001AD), and a certificate of compliance (item 0001AE). The final fixed quantity will be determined at the government's discretion based on received proposals. A 45-day solicitation period is provided to allow offerors time to obtain Boeing Rights Guard technical data package access, after which the standard 30-day solicitation period applies. The contractor must hold offered prices firm for 120 days. First article approval is required before production commencement, with contractor testing specifications detailed in the engineering drawings and a 90-day government approval timeline after test report submission. Approved first articles will be retained as part of the contract quantity and installed on aircraft. The solicitation is subject to Buy American requirements and Foreign Military Sales restrictions, with delivery to be made F.O.B. Origin via surface transportation. Award is based primarily on price, with technical factors as secondary consideration. Offerors must be Boeing Rights Guard certified to access and view the Technical Data Package (TDP) and must sign required certifications regarding use and destruction of Boeing technical data.
