About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a Defense Logistics Agency procurement of linear actuator pistons. The solicitation (SPRRA2-25-Q-0025) is for 40 pistons (NSN: 3040-01-612-0723) for the Patriot weapon system, with a firm fixed price contract type. The amendment changes the requirement from a commercial to a non-commercial procurement by removing commercial items clauses and adding numerous non-commercial clauses related to various federal contracting requirements.

Key contract details include a production quantity of 40 pistons, with inspection and acceptance to occur at origin. The packaging specification follows MIL-STD-129, with a military level of preservation and packing level B. The contract includes multiple federal contracting clauses covering areas such as labor standards, veteran employment, cybersecurity, supply chain requirements, and various reporting obligations. The effective date is 28 October 2025, with the original solicitation dated 3 June 2025, and the contract is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency's Redstone Arsenal location in Alabama.
