About this file

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, for market research purposes to identify potential manufacturing and supply sources for UH-60 BLACKHAWK weapon system components. The solicitation number is SPRRA1-26-R-0037, with NAICS Code 336413 and a corresponding small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The Government seeks qualified sources to manufacture and supply two items: Cylinder Assembly (NSN 1650-01-625-0164, Part Number 70410-02820-055) and Servocylinder (NSN 1650-01-625-0436, Part Number 70410-06520-048).

The Government welcomes responses from all business types, including 8(a) firms, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned enterprises, HUBZone firms, and Women-Owned small businesses. Interested contractors must meet prequalification requirements and seek source approval through AvMC's public website at https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/TechDataMgmt. Qualified contractors will be responsible for all aspects of manufacturing and production, including supply chain management, logistics, parts forecasting, procurement of long-lead items, obsolescence management, and final delivery. Critical to contract performance is active United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification to access export-controlled technical data, as this acquisition involves restricted defense information under the Arms Export Control Act and Export Administration Act. The Government explicitly notes this SSS is for informational purposes only, does not constitute a formal solicitation, and imposes no obligation to award a contract or provide compensation for response preparation.
