About this file

The J&A is for the acquisition of SUPPORT, SHOCK STRUT, NSN 1620-01-535-3515, under Solicitation Number SPRRA1-22-R-0005. The total estimated value of the acquisition is unknown, but will not exceed $100 million. The government cites 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as the statutory authority for the sole source acquisition, as the items can only be obtained from a limited number of sources. The J&A states that no interested vendors responded to a sources sought notice posted in November 2021. The Boeing Company and Goodrich Corporation are identified as the only known sources capable of furnishing the required supplies. The contracting officer has determined that the anticipated pricing will be fair and reasonable based on certified cost or pricing data.
