SCOPE OF WORK
SCOPE OF WORK
FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM BLOCKAGE INSPECTION &
GAUGE REPLACEMENT
Elko District Office (EDO)
Elko, Nevada
SCOPE OF SERVICES
A. Inspect all fire sprinkler systems with metal piping for potential blockages.
1. Should any blockages be found, the contractor shall notify the COR immediately.
2. Testing shall conform to National Fire Protection Association Standard 25.
3. There are six (6) total systems that require testing.
B. Replace all fire sprinkler systems gauges that are older than five (5) years old.

CONTRACTUAL
D. Fee and Payment:
1. All services, supplies, materials (except those specified to be furnished by the Government), labor, superintendence, and travel necessary to perform the work and render the services required under this contract are to be included in the lump sum price of this contract.
2. Payment shall be made upon completion of all inspections & replacement of all gauges.
E. Use of Premises:
1. The Contractor and his sub-contractor(s) shall have full use of premises for preparatory work. Contractor’s use of premises is limited only by Government right to perform work.
2. Work schedules shall be 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Any alternative work schedule shall be approved by Contracting Officer’s Representative prior to commencing.
3. Schedule and sequence preparatory operations necessary to complete the work. Schedule work in such manner as to avoid delays.
4. The Contractor shall contact in writing and have the approval of the Contracting Officer five (5) working days in advance prior to any preparatory operations to be conducted on the premises.
SCHEDULE
A. Before commencing work, Contractor shall provide 48 hour notice to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
ESCORT
F. The government will provide an escort for access to buildings and sites including the outside locations.
