Combined Request for Information and Synopsis

This notice is a combined Request for Information and Synopsis. The primary purposes of this notice are as follows:

Conduct market research to determine if other sources are capable of satisfying the agency’s requirements exist and if commercial items or non‐developmental items are available that meet the agency’s requirements

Improve small business access to acquisition information

Enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities

This announcement is not a Request for Proposal or an Invitation for Bid, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for any information solicited herein. Interested parties should contact

Noun: Aircraft Rudder NSNs: 1560‐01‐077‐1314WF P/Ns: 16T7302‐805 Qty: 16 EA Destination: SW3210 Estimated Delivery Schedule: Incremental Deliveries to begin at 20 Oct 2024 at a rate of 2 per month Set‐aside: No set‐aside

Statements Master tooling is required to correctly manufacture this part. Currently approved sources for this requirement are Lockheed Martin (81755), Elbit Systems ‐ Cyclone (0600A), and Aerospace &Commercial Technologies (1XKR3).

In order to attempt to become a qualified source, an offering party must meet one of the following:

1) Provide a written agreement with Lockheed Martin showing Lockheed Martin’s willingness to provide access to all the necessary mater tooling required to adequately manufacture the parts.

2) The offering party must work out a reverse engineering solution at its own expense, which is approved by the Government.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Please keep in mind the Government will not hold up award pending the review of a qualification package.

The technical data package for this requirement will be on Sam.gov.

One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.
