About this file
This is a Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (Standard Form 1449) for fire extinguishers issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime. The solicitation (SPRDL1-24-R-0042) seeks to procure 1,098 fire extinguishers (NSN: 4210-01-621-9540) with a specific manufacturer part number (475886) from Kidde. The contract is a firm fixed-price acquisition with an option to purchase an additional 1,098 units within 365 days after award, to be delivered to the Army General Supply DLA Distribution in Anniston, Alabama.
The solicitation requires potential offerors to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and certified under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program to access technical data. The delivery schedule calls for 117 units to be delivered every 30 days after contract award, with the entire base quantity to be delivered within 270 days. Offers must be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist, with a specific subject header format. The solicitation emphasizes strict compliance with submission requirements, including precise timing and electronic submission protocols, and indicates that only one award will be made for the total quantity of items.
