ADDITIONAL ORDERING DATA SHEET
INFLATABLE PLUGS
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS:
Shop 31 Corporate Standard Tooling requires Inflatable bladder plugs with the following characteristics:
Inflatable bladder plug and cover manufactured by COB Industries, Inc.
* natural rubber bladder with round bulbous end, inflatable to max PSI proportionate to size on chart DWG: 820-7584557 Rev B, sht: 5A. Stamped with cure date and size. Minimal talcum powder applied to fully assembled bladder
* rubber neck extending from bulbous end approximately 25” with a Schrader valve (with cap) crimped or secured with a hose clamp at attachment point; 1/8” NPT valve stem. Minimal plumber’s putty at brass fitting area of valve, no Teflon tape.
* canvas/polyester bag stamped with the following information - warning test before use, max inflation pressure __ psi, cure date and size.
* Free of following defects: crevices/dimples/holes/cracks on the Natural Rubber bladder, damaged cloth, unraveled threads, tears or rips, presence of oil on any surface
* Materials meet requirements of NAVSEA TM 0989-064-3000, pass testing for detrimental materials (done in house)
* manufacturer provided “Warning Tag” (Read Instruction Manual and Test Bag before each use), 1 ea per plug; inflation max noted on tag per each size
* white grosgrain tether 16” long x ½” wide, unattached
* received unassembled; one bladder, one canvas cloth cover, one tether constitutes one part
