SPECIFICATION SHEET

Mountain Home AFB, ID

Gunfighter Sign 22 August 2024

1. GENERAL: The 366th Force Support Squadron located on Mountain Home AFB, ID requires the removal and installation of the newly designed Gunfighter Base Sign.

2. GUNFIGHTER SIGN MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: The renovated Gunfighter Sign must (at a minimum) comply with the following salient characteristics:

2.1. Physical Characteristics

2.1.1. Mahogany Brown Color Material.

2.1.2. 3D Cut Out Mountains at the Top.

2.1.3. F15 Jets Across Mountains.

2.1.4. The Sign Shall Be Capable of Being Held by the Preexisting Foundation and Stand.

2.1.5. All Verbiage to be Silver.

2.1.6. Two patches, Silver Verbiage and Jets to be 3D Metal Cutouts.

2.1.7. Total Height of 6’, Length of 11’ 6”, and a Thickness of 1’. (Will be Determined

Based on Stand and Wind)

2.1.8. The Contractors must ensure there is a protective coating on the sign to prevent from sand, sun, water, rust and other deteriorating elements.

2.2. Mandatory Items Front of Sign.

2.2.1. “WELCOME TO GUNFIGHTER COUNTRY”

2.2.2. “366TH FIGHTER WING”

2.2.3. “Commander: Col. Mike C. Alfaro”

2.2.4. “Command Chief: CMSgt Joseph Rohde”

2.2.5. 15th Air Force Patch

2.2.6. 366 Fighter Wing Patch

2.2.7. Commander and Command Chief section around 108” x 15” and must be easily changed for new Commander and Command Chief.

2.2.8. Commander and Command Chief section must be made out of hardened glass for easy name change.

2.3. Mandatory Items Back of Sign

2.3.1. “RIDE HARD, SHOOT STRAIGHT AND ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH!”

2.3.2. “2024 Commander in Chief’s Annual Award For Installation Excellence

2.4. Warranty

2.4.1. 3-Year Manufacturer Warranty.

3. INSTALLATION: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items needed to setup/install the Gunfighter Sign.

3.1. The Contractor shall install all requested equipment in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer’s specifications.

3.2. The Contractor shall ensure proper operation of the installed Sign.

3.3. The Contractor shall install the requested sign upon the preexisting stand and foundation.

3.4. The Contractor shall ensure cleanliness of Government facility is maintained at all times.

3.5. The Government will inspect facility for cleanliness prior to Contractor’s departure.

3.6. Any damage done to Government property by the Contractor shall be repaired by the Contractor at the Contractor’s expense.

4. REMOVAL: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items needed to remove and dispose of the existing

Gunfighter Sign.

4.1. The Contractor shall remove all preestablished signage and properly dispose of it.

4.2. The Contractor shall ensure cleanliness of Government facility is maintained at all times.

4.3. The Government will inspect facility for cleanliness prior to Contractor’s departure.

4.4. Any damage done to Government property by the Contractor shall be repaired by the Contractor at the Contractor’s expense.

5. SPECIFICS:

5.1. Shipping must be included in the quotation.

5.1.1. Contractor shall deliver to Force Support Squadron Marketing – Amanda Worthington, 480 5th Ave, BLDG 2610, Suite 137, Mountain Home AFB, ID, 83648 (loading dock at rear of building).

5.1.2. Delivery will be no later than 30 days after date of contract (ADC).

6. OPERATIONS SECURITY: The contractor shall comply with 366 FW OPSEC requirements and countermeasures to protect critical information as defined in AFI 10-701, Operations Security. Contractors shall receive unit specific OPSEC briefing prior to the start of work. Briefing documentation must be completed by the respective unit OPSEC coordinator.

The unit OPSEC personnel will provide guidance on protecting critical information, training materials and other instructions as needed. The contractor will comply with the 366 FW OPSEC Policy that imposes a 100% shred requirement of all government related paper products using NSA approved devices only.
