140FS225Q0007 Distribution Transformers Page 1 of 3 Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery
1. General:
1.1 Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery (NFH), 530 Hatchery Rd, Riverdale, ND 58565.
Service, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of two electrical transformers behind for the shop building due to lightning strike.
1.2 Purpose/End Application: This project is the purchase and delivery of two new electrical transformers for the shop building.
1.3 Contractor Qualifications: The contractor must be appropriately licensed and certified to purchase electrical transformers.
1.4 Other: The contractor must follow all associated regulations and laws including:
Municiple, Federal, State, and County.
2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance
2.1 Work is to be performed at Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery, 530 Hatchery Rd, Riverdale, ND 58565.
2.2 Delivery needs to be completed prior to February 15, 2025.
2.3 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information.
2.4 Non-duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year’s
Day, Martin Luther King JR.s’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor
Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
3. Scope
3.1 Contractor shall purchase new electrical transformers and ship them to Garrison Dam
NFH.
4. Deliverables and/or Delivery Schedule:
4.1 The contractor will provide one 3-phase, oil-filled, 75 KVA, W/Taps, pad mount transformer with high voltage of 13800 and low voltage 480Y/277.
4.1.1. Minimum accessories include: Primary Bushings, Dead Front, Loop Feed; 8.3/14.4
KV Wells with Inserts; Secondary Bushings, Standard Spade Connectors; Bayonet Fusing;
Oil Level Gauge; Pressure/Vacuum Gauge; Temperature Gauge; Pressure Relief Device;
Pentahead Entry Assembly; Mineral Oil (standard); Non-PCB Label; Drain Valve with

Sampler; Bell Green Paint; Undercoating.
4.2 The contractor will provide one 3-phase, oil-filled, 150 KVA, W/Taps 4 X 2 1/2%
Below, pad mount transformer with high voltage of 13800 and low voltage 240D/120.
4.2.1. Minimum accessories include: Primary Bushings, Dead Front, Loop Feed; 8.3/14.4
KV Wells with Inserts; Secondary Bushings, Standard Spade Connectors; Bayonet Fusing;
Oil Level Gauge; Pressure/Vacuum Gauge; Temperature Gauge; Pressure Relief Device;
Pentahead Entry Assembly; Mineral Oil (standard); Non-PCB Label; Drain Valve with
Sampler; Bell Green Paint; Undercoating.

6.1 None
7. Evaluation and Acceptance
7.1 The contractor will be evaluated as detailed herein. Government acceptance is contingent upon: designated U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service representative(s) determining the work to be acceptable and in good working order.
8. Quality Control/Quality Assurance:
8.1 For commercial supplies reference clauses for inspection and acceptance. Where appropriate, QC will be maintained according to industry standards and made available to the agency with the contractor’s proposal.
8.2 Identify and detail measures for assessing quality control and acceptance; each requirement is unique and a table format is visually friendly and may be desirable.
