Statement of Requirements Project: Acquisition of a 4-row on-row hooded sprayer with 38-inch row spacing, a 100 gallon spray tank, and u-shaped hoods.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: Delivery of a 4-row on-row hooded sprayer with 38-inch row spacing, a 100 gallon spray tank, and u-shaped hoods.
2.0 Background: A 4-row on-row hooded sprayer with 38-inch row spacing, a 100 gallon spray tank, and u-shaped hoods is required to allow for spraying bands of herbicide on top of existing rows of cotton without damaging the plants. Hoods need to be shaped with U-shaped opening sat the front and back to avoid hitting plants in the row. Cannot use existing sprayers as it would require extensive reconfiguring to move row units in line with the row, rather than between rows as is the case on most hooded sprayers.
