Project Research Pontoon Boat with Motor, & Trailer

General Information

1.0 Scope of Work

The USDA Forest Service IITF in San Juan P.R intends to award a purchase order for a new aluminum boat, motor & trailer to use on activity of investigation study. Minn Kota® Edge® 12V, 45-lb. (20.41 kg) thrust, 45" (1.14 m) shaft, foot-control trolling motor, Mercury® FourStroke 30 mph, Chrome wheels & matching hub covers w/13" (33.02 cm) radial tires.

2.0 Background

The access area of research plays an important mission to provide scientific data. Its critical for the uninterrupted operation visit Lagoon study area in Humacao Reserve. For 20 years, a study has been carried out in the Natural Resources lagoon, collecting litter, temperature, rain, soil collection, carrying out this task twice a month. Having a boat would allow us to access the study area during and after weather events.

Research plays an important mission by providing scientific data. It is very important to benefit for common knowledge can carry out or have carried out such research, as well as to advance in the understanding of a certain knowledge as its practical applications.

This Research Pontoon Boat must comes as a complete ready, with a custom-fit trailer, Mercury outboard, and Minn Kota trolling motor.

Tracker Boat-Research Pontoon Boat w/ 50 ELPT FourStroke Mercury® FourStroke Boat, Motor, & Trailer shall be delivered and used at the International Institute of Tropical Forestry in San Juan, PR; therefore, the vendor must meet the following criteria:

5.0 Deliverables / Schedule

• All work needs to be done during normal business hours 8:00 am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
