Specifications

We require cages for versatile housing for chickens (broilers, layers) and turkeys. The required cages must have the following features as minimum specifications:

· 80 individual cages in total, broken into multiple sets of mobile cage units with 10 individual housing environments per unit.

· Cage units capable of fitting through a standard door opening of 36 in (W) x 80 in (H).

· Cage units with sloped floors between 5.2-5.5 degrees, suitable for egg collection from individual birds (layers/turkeys).

· Cage units with floor inserts that allow for level flooring for housing of broilers.

· Cage units with adjustable drinkers (minimum: 20-inch range).

· Cage units with individual feeders.

· Individual cages with a square footage of at least 4.5 square feet.

· Cage materials capable of withstanding autoclaving.
