Brand name or “or equal” requirement, must meet or exceed, based on the following specifications:

• Suggested Product/Item: Barko 930B / Prinoth M65OH

• Quantity: 1 EA

• Manufacturer: Carrier-Barko tractor / Mulching head-Prinoth

General Requirements:

Carrier Specifications:

• All wheel drive

• Rubber wheels

• Articulated steering

• Engine horsepower no less than 260

• Low hours

• No hydraulic leaks

• Sealed and climate controlled cab in good condition

• Rearview camera

• ISO certified roll over protective structure (ROPS)

• ISO certified falling object protective structure (FOPS)

Mulching Head Specifications:

• Working width no less than 90 inches

• Ability to manage woody vegetation of no less than 16in diameter.

• Bite control system on mulching drum

• New to almost new mulching teeth

• Push bar

• Protection flap

• Protective chain curtain

NOTE: Vendor will ensure user manuals and any pertinent safety information will be included with the equipment.

Delivery Location:

• Equipment must be delivered to the following location:

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Maintenance Area 12447 Wisniewski Rd.

Empire, MI 49630

Rental Period and Delivery Instructions:

• Rental Period: 35 days

• Dates of use: 22 January 2024 through 25 February 2024 (35 days)

a. These dates do not include delivery and pick-up of the equipment, only includes the period in which the rental charges will be applied

b. Delivery of equipment must be delivered before the 22 January 2024 start date of the rental period // Pick-up can be anytime after the 25 February 2024 end date of the rental period – All of this will need to be coordinated by the vendor to ensure these various dates are met accordingly, please work with the POCs listed below to ensure timeframes are adhered to

• Arrangements for delivery must be made with Delivery COR or POC 1 (one) week prior to delivery/shipment:

** Vendor must contact park to make delivery arrangements 1 (one) week prior to delivery and advise exact date time (to ensure park personnel are there to receive the equipment) and advise the park POC 1 (one) week prior to exact pick-up date and time (to ensure park personnel are there for pick-up) **

** Equipment and attachments (if applicable) must be delivered to the location annotated above between the hours of 7am – 4pm, on regular business days of Monday thru Friday. Weekend deliveries only by approval of COR or POC **

Rental Fees:

• Monthly rental rate.

• Fees associated with delivery and retrieval of the equipment.

• Rental protection, environmental charges, and any other misc charges

Other Information:

• The vendor will be responsible for service of the equipment during the entire rental period and will respond to emergency service requests within 24 hrs. or one business day of the initial report.

If a breakdown occurs and the equipment must be taken out of service for five or more calendar days, the vendor shall provide a suitable replacement, or pro-rate the rental fee to reflect the lost days.

• Delivery and pickup of the equipment will be the responsibility of the vendor. The selected vendor shall be responsible for obtaining any necessary Federal, State, or local transportation permits if applicable.
