SPECIFICATIONS

1.0 Specifications Description: Minirhizotron Imaging System

With soil tubes to facilitate soybean root research

Quantity: 1

Unit Type: Each

Minimum Requirements:

• The imaging module must have a minimum scanning depth of 1.8 m.

• The image resolution shall be a minimum of 1200 dpi.

• The weight of the imaging module shall be less than 5 lbs.

• The scan head shall have a diameter of less than 2”.

• The imaging module must interface with the in-field image viewer (tablet or computer) via

USB port.

• The imaging module must be powered via USB port connected to tablet or computer

• The soil tubes shall be a minimum of 1.8 m length and no greater than 2.25” outside diameter.

• Tablet or computer included with system must be NDAA-899 compliant.
