Specifications A tractor is required that has between 65-75 horsepower (hp) to pull our plot seeders, row seeders, and sprayers across fields in the ‘Palouse’ area of Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Tractors with only 60 hp do not have sufficient power to pull research field equipment up slopes. Tractor frame sizes larger than 75 engine hp are too heavy to haul with our equipment.
