Specifications-Drone
Background and Scope
ARS expects to carry out research using this drone to advance precision agriculture practices and gain insights to maximize efficiency in applying fertilizer to crops. ARS is looking for a fertilizer application drone. We are looking for a Leading Edge PrecisionVision 35X fertilizer application drone, brand name or equal.
Requirements
• The fertilizer application drone must be able to fly in autonomous mode, based on a user-defined flight plan.
• It must be able to carry a granular fertilizer payload of at least 20 lbs.
• It must be able to apply granular fertilizer at adjustable rates.
• It must be RTK enabled and include an RTK base station.
